Medical flossing is used regularly in America and Germany by physios as a 1st line treatment. Medical flossing is a simple yet effective therapy and has many variations in technique for different pain and movement-related issues. Medical flossing is a manual technique that uses compression bands for treatment.
Quality medical flossing
The treatment has a number of names - one of which is voodoo flossing - and is widely misunderstood.
Medical flossing can be used in combination with other techniques. At Solihull and Birmingham Chiropody, I offer quality medical flossing.
I trained with a top German physio on an accredited course.
Medical flossing includes:
- Compression
- Shearing/movement of tissue
- Fluid pump
- Neurosensory stimulation
