Solihull Clinic Cancellation and Late Appointments Policy




We understand that life can throw the unexpected at us sometimes, which may result in you needing to change your plans. Text messages reminders are sent out 24 hours before the appointment as a courtesy reminder. On receiving the message or before, If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour’s notice.

When an appointment is scheduled, that time has been set aside for you and when it is missed, that time cannot be used to treat another patient who needs our services.


Any cancelled, moved or altered appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at 50% of the full fee. If a patient misses an appointment without contacting the clinic, this is considered a missed appointment and a full 100% standard fee will be charged.


Which needs to be paid prior to your next appointment. If a patient accumulates a total of 3 missed appointments, the patient may not be rescheduled for future appointments until this outstanding amount has been paid in full. Block (Group) Bookings: If you have paid for a block (group) and miss or change your appointment with less than 24 hours, this will be taken as one of your pre-paid sessions.


We want to make our policy as clear as possible as it can be upsetting when people miss or need to change an appointment, often because of genuine and stressful reasons.


Late Appointments


If you arrive late for your appointment We will endeavour to do what we can to deliver best treatment for you as we understand that sometimes these situations cannot be helped. But it will result in a shorter appointment session, but please bear in mind this may not be possible and your full 100% appointment fee will stand. This is to ensure that we do not run late for our other patients.


No partial refund will be available in these circumstances.
