What is CPPS (Chronic Pain Syndrome)?

CPPS is a multifactorial condition, affecting up to 10% of all men at any given time.

Symptoms

CPPS can affect people in different ways, but many report that the discomfort they experience can feel like:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Frequent urination
  • Genital pain
  • Lower back pain
  • Pain during or after sex
  • Pain while sitting

Helping you manage symptoms

A recent study concluded that shockwave administered in 10 sessions over 5 weeks presented significant improvement in terms of the patient's pain, urinary symptoms, erectile function and quality of life related to CPPS, as demonstrated by the improvement in NIH-CPSI, IIEF, and IPSS outcome.

The results that we are seeing at Solihull Clinic/Midland Shockwave for the condition are proving to be very good, and we could help you next.

Research study-

"After suffering for over a year with no real answers as to why - I sought treatment for CPPS at midlands shockwave therapy. Stuart was brilliant walking me through the full process and whilst there were some ups and downs during the treatment, ultimately it has cleared the problem completely! It saw all 3 clinicians in the end and they were all brilliant! I can be a little awkward but each of them are completely professional and put you completely at ease as they walk through how the treatments are going to work/help."

Before attending the clinic you must have a diagnosis – this can be arranged if you have not got one from your Doctor/ Consultant
